The Netherlands warmed up for next week's double-header in Canada by holding China to a 0-0 draw in Almere.
Sun Wen back
Vera Pauw's side are second in qualifying Group 5 for the 2007 FIFA World Cup and are using these three friendly matches as preparation for the resumption of their campaign against Hungary on 25 March. Confidence will have been gained from this draw, particularly as the Chinese included one of the world's finest players ever, 32-year-old Sun Wen, for the first time since she announced that she was turning her back on retirement.
Two games
The Netherlands will now head to Canada for matches against the host country on 1 March (Vancouver) and 4 March (Victoria).
