Bodø/Glimt travel to Tottenham Hotspur for the first leg of their UEFA Europa League semi-final, becoming the first team from Norway to reach the last four of a senior UEFA men's club competition.
Spurs – who are in the last four for the first time since lifting the UEFA Cup 41 years ago – were 2-1 aggregate winners against 2022 champions Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals, Dominic Solanke's penalty giving them a 1-0 second-leg victory in Germany.
The Norwegian side's route to a maiden semi-final was even more dramatic – having won 2-0 at home to Lazio they conceded a second goal in added time in Rome to take the game into extra time. Despite finding themselves 0-3 down after 100 minutes, a header from Andreas Helmersen brought them level and took the tie to penalties which Bodø/Glimt won 3-2, goalkeeper Nikita Haikin saving the decisive spot kick.
This is a first meeting between the two sides in UEFA competition.
