UEFA Champions League Global Sponsorship Packages 2021-24

UEFA wishes to announce that it has, in principle, accepted offers in respect of seven UEFA Champions League global sponsorship packages. Interested parties are now invited to submit formal offers for the eighth and final UEFA Champions League global sponsorship package to TEAM Marketing by 12:00 CET on Friday 3 April 2020, via email, to uccpartnerships@team.ch. Offers may be made in respect of any open product category.

Should any interested party require further information in respect of the eighth available package (including the inventory available and product categories still open), they are requested to contact TEAM Marketing as soon as possible, via the e-mail address referred to above.

UEFA Champions League Global Sponsorship Packages 2021-24

UEFA wishes to announce that it has, in principle, accepted offers in respect of five UEFA Champions League global sponsorship packages and is currently in negotiations with a brand for a sixth UEFA Champions League global sponsorship package.

In addition, UEFA has now received a formal offer for a seventh UEFA Champions League global sponsorship package.

Accordingly, interested parties are now invited to submit formal offers for the seventh UEFA Champions League global sponsorship package to TEAM Marketing (in respect of any open product category) by 12:00 CET on Friday 17th January 2020, via email, to uccpartnerships@team.ch.

Should any interested party require further information in respect of the seventh available package (including the inventory available), they are requested to contact TEAM Marketing as soon as possible, via the e-mail address referred to above.

Interested parties should however be aware that, as UEFA continues to accept offers for sponsorship packages, the total inventory available for the remaining packages will decrease and that following the awarding of the seventh UEFA Champions League global sponsorship package, only one UEFA Champions League global sponsorship package will remain available for interested parties.

2021-24 Club Competition Licensing rights sales launch for Collectibles

UEFA has the pleasure to announce that it is inviting proposals for the 2021-24 cycle within the Collectibles category for its men’s club competitions. Proposals are invited from suitably qualified suppliers in the following areas:

• Official Sticker Albums
• Official Trading Cards
• Other Collectible products (physical and digital)

Proposals for product rights can be for one or a number of the categories listed.

UEFA has appointed TEAM Marketing AG (TEAM) as its exclusive marketing agency for the exploitation of certain media and commercial rights relating to men’s club competitions. TEAM is responsible, on behalf of UEFA, for overseeing the bidding process with regard to these competitions and will be the point of contact for bidders in relation to all requests for further information, comments, questions and submissions as well as in relation to any subsequent contractual negotiations.

In order to receive further information about the available rights, interested parties must either send an email to licensing@team.ch or contact Daniel Hammond, Head of Licensing at TEAM (+41 78 617 17 51).

Suppliers wishing to participate in the RFP process should send an email by no later than 20th January 2020 to the relevant email address stated above.

In order to participate in the process and receive the sales documentation, prospective suppliers are requested to include the following initial information in their e-mail:
- Company Profile;
- Details of any similar licences held;
- The packages the supplier is interested in bidding for.

2021-24 Men’s Club Competition Licensing rights sales launch for Video games, eSports and casual games

UEFA has the pleasure to announce that it is inviting proposals for the 2021-24 cycle covering a number of categories in the video games sector, including the official simulation game and eSports event, for its Club competitions. Proposals are invited from suitably qualified suppliers in the following areas:

• Official football simulation game and associated e-Sports rights
• Official football management games
• Football related casual games and hyper-casual games with associated e-Sports rights

Proposals for product rights can be for one or a number of the categories listed. Please note that club and player rights cannot be granted by UEFA and are to be arranged directly with the IP owners.

UEFA has the pleasure to announce that it is inviting proposals for the 2021-24 cycle from suitably qualified companies, ideally with experience working with sports properties, in relation to the creation of UEFA men’s club competition branded licensed products. The categories are:

Trophy Replicas
• Toys and Board Games
• Back to School
• Umbrellas

Please note that club and player rights cannot be granted by UEFA and are to be arranged directly with the IP owners.

UEFA to launch sports category tender process for UEFA men’s Club Competitions for 2021-24

UEFA is inviting bids from suitably qualified suppliers in the sports category for its men’s Club Competitions for the 2021-24 commercial cycle. The sports category packages will include the right to produce and market both the official matchball and sports equipment and apparel (including footwear) for the relevant competitions.

The sports category rights will be tendered separately for the UEFA Champions League (including the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League and UEFA Futsal Champions League Finals) and for the UEFA Europa League / UEFA Europa Conference League.

The tender process will be launched on Monday 16th December 2019. Any bids must be submitted prior to the close of the tender process on Friday 7th February 2020 at 12:00 CET.

Interested parties can request the tender documentation by contacting TEAM Marketing AG (TEAM) via e-mail at uccpartnerships@team.ch and should include the following initial information in their e-mail: - Company name - Brand of balls, footwear or apparel manufactured - Details of current similar contracts held.

Should any interested party require further information in respect of the fifth available package, they are requested to contact TEAM Marketing as soon as possible, via the e-mail address referred to above. Interested parties should however be aware that, as UEFA continues to accept offers for sponsorship packages, the total inventory available for the remaining packages will decrease.

UEFA men’s Club Competition sponsorship rights sales 2021-24

In view of the level of demand for UEFA Champions League global sponsorship packages, UEFA wishes to announce that it will now adopt a package-by-package sales approach, rather than a category-by-category sales approach, for the remaining UCL global sponsorship packages.

UEFA has, in principle, accepted offers in respect of three sponsorship packages and interested parties are now invited to submit formal offers for the fourth UEFA Champions League global sponsorship package to TEAM Marketing (in respect of any open product category) by 17:00 CET on Wednesday 20 November 2019, via email, to uccpartnerships@team.ch.

Any interested party requiring further information (including details of the sponsorship inventory currently available) to be able to participate in the formal offer process noted above, or any interested party not wishing to participate in this offer process but wishing to express genuine interest in acquiring one of the remaining UCL global sponsorship packages, should TEAM Marketing as soon as possible, via the e-mail address referred to above.

2018-21 UEFA club competition licensing rights sales

UEFA has the pleasure to announce that it is inviting proposals from suitably qualified companies, ideally with experience working with sports properties, in relation to the creation of UEFA club competition branded Bedding and Home Textile licensed products. The category includes but is not limited to:

• Bedlinen, towels, ponchos, Sheets, Magic towels, Bathrobes, Blankets, Curtains, Roller Blinds, Cushions, Neck Pillows, Bean Bags, Comforters, Quilts, Carpets, Sleeping Bags, Drawstring Bag.

The relevant available rights relate to Official Licensed Bedding and Home Textile products for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League seasons 2019/2020 and 2020/21.

UEFA exploring the payment systems market in relation to UEFA Champions League sponsorship rights for 2021-24
 
UEFA announced on 25th September 2019 that the sales processes for sponsorship rights relating to the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Europa Conference League have been officially launched. Interested parties from within any product category are invited to request further information or express interest in these rights at any time, by contacting TEAM Marketing via e-mail at uccpartnerships@team.ch
 
At present, TEAM Marketing is specifically exploring the payment systems market in relation to sponsorship rights for the UEFA Champions League.  Any interested parties from within this category are requested to send an e-mail to TEAM Marketing, at the above e-mail address, by Friday 25 October 2019.
