Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is a member of the UEFA Executive Committee after being appointed as chairman of European Football Clubs (EFC), and since October 2025, has represented EFC on the FIFA Council.
Since 2011, Al-Khelaïfi has served as president of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Football Club, following his appointment as chairman of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), which acquired ownership of the French club that same year. He also sits on the board of the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP).
Outside of football, Al-Khelaïfi is president of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel and Badminton Federation (QTSBF), and is also chairman of Premier Padel, the world’s leading official professional padel tour. Alongside his leading roles within sport, Al-Khelaïfi is the group chairman of beIN MEDIA GROUP, the international sports, entertainment and media group operating in 40 countries worldwide. He is also a board member of Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA).
Al-Khelaïfi has been widely recognised for his leadership, receiving the Best Club President award from the 2025 Golden Boy Awards (Tuttosport), the Best Executive award from the 2025 World Football Summit Awards, and the President of the Year award from the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards.
