The UEFA Appeals Body has taken the following decisions:

Match: UEFA Europa League 2022/2023, Bayer 04 Leverkusen vs. AS Roma (0:0) 18.05.2023

The appeal lodged by Bayer 04 Leverkusen is partially upheld. Consequently, point one (1) of the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body’s decision of 21 June 2023 is amended as follows:

-To fine Bayer 04 Leverkusen €30,000 and to order the partial closure of Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s stadium, which shall consist of at least 5,000 seats during the next (1) match it plays as host club, for lighting of fireworks and throwing of objects. Said partial stadium closure is suspended for a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.”
