CEDB decisions affecting the attendance of supporters to UEFA matches

CEDB meeting of 10 December 2021

In its meeting of 10 December 2021, the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) took some decisions which would affect the attendance of supporters to UEFA matches as follows (only relevant parts reproduced):

Match: Legia Warszawa vs. SSC Napoli

- To order the partial closure of the Legia Warszawa stadium (i.e. the North Stand sector behind the goal where the home club supporters are seated) during the next one (1) UEFA competition match in which Legia Warszawa will play as host club, and to fine Legia Warszawa €40,000, for lighting of fireworks and blocking of public passageways. Said partial stadium closure is subject to a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of this decision.

Match: Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Royal Antwerp FC

Eintracht Frankfurt:

- To order the partial closure of the Eintracht Frankfurt stadium (i.e. the sector(s) behind the goal where the home club supporters are seated) during the next one (1) UEFA competition match in which Eintracht Frankfurt will play as host club, and to fine Eintracht Frankfurt €30,000, for throwing of fireworks.

Royal Antwerp FC:

- To ban Royal Antwerp FC from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next one (1) UEFA competition match and to fine Royal Antwerp FC €30,000, for lighting of fireworks, throwing of objects, crowd disturbances and acts of damage.

- To order Royal Antwerp FC to contact Eintracht Frankfurt within 30 days for the settlement of the damages caused by its supporters, i.e. for the damaged exit gate.

Match: Brøndby IF vs. Olympique Lyonnais

- To fine Brøndby IF €30,000 and to order a partial stadium closure of the Brøndby IF stadium (i.e. in sectors D24 and D25 where the home supporters are seated) during the next one (1) UEFA club competition match in which Brøndby IF will play as host club, for the throwing of objects, the lighting of fireworks and the lack of discipline by its supporters (i.e. for insulting and spitting on the venue team). The partial stadium closure is subject to a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

Match: Stade Rennais FC vs. Vitesse

- To fine Vitesse €30,000 and to ban Vitesse from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next one (1) UEFA competition match, for throwing of objects and crowd disturbances.

- To fine Vitesse €5,000 for acts of damage.

- To order Vitesse to contact Stade Rennais FC within 30 days for the settlement of the damages caused by its supporters, i.e. for the 20 broken seats, two damaged washbasins and refreshment stand equipment.

Match: SK Slavia Praha vs. Feyenoord

- To ban Feyenoord from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next one (1) UEFA competition match and to fine Feyenoord €40,000, for lighting of fireworks and throwing of objects. Said ban from selling tickets to its away supporters is subject to a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

- To fine Feyenoord €8,000 for acts of damage.

- To order Feyenoord to contact SK Slavia Praha within 30 days for the settlement of the damages caused by its supporters, i.e. for the two broken chairs.
