AB decisions affecting the attendance of supporters to UEFA matches

The Appeals Body has announced the following decision which would affect the attendance of supporters to UEFA matches:

Match: 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round first leg match, HNK Hajduk Split (CRO) vs. Vitória SC (POR) played on 4 August 2022 in Croatia.

Decision:

- To fine HNK Hajduk Split €15,000 and to order the partial closure of HNK Hajduk Split stadium, during the next (1) UEFA club competition match in which HNK Hajduk Split would play as the host club, for the discriminatory behaviour of their supporters. HNK Hajduk Split shall inform prior to the match, the sector(s) to be closed, which shall consist of at least 3,000 seats.

- To order HNK Hajduk Split to implement the following directive in the next UEFA club competition match which the club shall play as the host club: to display a banner with the wording “#NoToRacism”, with the UEFA logo on it.

- To fine HNK Hajduk Split €8,000 for blocking of public passageways.
