Many of Europe's leading coaches are in Nyon for the 11th Elite Club Coaches Forum at UEFA's House of European Football.
In what has become an annual fixture on the UEFA schedule, the coaches gather with European football's governing body to discuss the latest trends in top club football and express their views on the major issues affecting the game.
UEFA has taken many of the coaches' ideas on board in recent years in shaping its competitions, and welcomes the chance to spend time with Europe's foremost club technicians in order to discuss football trends, to exchange opinions and to consider developments in coaching at the highest level.
A number of Europe's élite coaches have been invited and among those who have confirmed their attendance are: Arsène Wenger (Arsenal FC), Rafael Benítez (Liverpool FC), Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United FC), Manuel Pellegrini (Real Madrid CF), Jesualdo Ferreira (FC Porto), Claude Puel (Olympique Lyonnais), Ciro Ferrara (Juventus), Didier Deschamps (Olympique de Marseille), Felix Magath (FC Schalke 04), Thomas Schaaf (Werder Bremen), Martin Jol (AFC Ajax), Valeri Gazzaev (FC Dynamo Kyiv), Walter Smith (Rangers FC) and Dan Petrescu (AFC Unirea Urziceni).
