Armand Duka is setting out on his fifth term as president of the Football Association of Albania (FShF).
The 55-year-old was re-elected by delegates at the association’s general assembly, and spoke of his commitment to taking Albanian football forward, following the recent boost of taking part in UEFA EURO 2016 in France – the country’s debut in a major international football tournament.
“I'm happy, because my contribution has been valued,” said Duka, who became FShF president in 2002, after his re-election for another four-year mandate. “I feel a great obligation.”
Duka remains determined to nurture Albanian football, promote the game and develop the nation's footballing infrastructure. “I promise you that my dedication to my job will be even greater,” he emphasised, “and that we will start to work immediately on new objectives.”
