Kaunas door keeps on turning

Members

Transfer dealings at FBK Kaunas continue with Tomas Tamošauskas arriving and Darius Žutautas departing.

Back at old club
Žutautas has returned to Alania on a three-year deal, three years after leaving the club for Dinamo Moskva. He joins at Alania another Lithuanian international, Nerijus Barasa, who swapped Kaunas for the Russian Premier League 12 months ago.

Tamošauskas loan
While Žutautas moves on, the 21-year-old Tamošauskas comes in on loan until the summer. Two years ago attacking midfielder Tamošauskas was considered a rising star of Lithuanian football and went to Dinamo from FK Atlantas. However, he has spent two seasons playing reserve-team football in Moscow.

Scottish connection
Another recent arrival at Kaunas from Moscow, former FC Lokomotiv Moskva midfielder Deividas Cesnauskis, is now installed in Edinburgh on loan at Heart of Midlothian FC, the Scottish side with whom Kaunas owner Vladimir Romanov has strong links. Two other Kaunas players, Saulius Mikoliunas and Marius Kižys, are also there.
