Orest Lenczyk has "totally surprised" his Polish first division club, KS Ruch Chorzów, by resigning from his position as first-team coach.
'Tough decisions ahead'
"We were totally surprised by [Lenczyk’s] decision," Jerzy Bebenek, the club's vice-president, said. "We beat Lech [Poznán] on Saturday and it seemed we were back on the right track. Now we must take some tough decisions. Maybe we'll look for a foreign coach."
Assistant steps in
Lenczyk's assistant Marek Wlecialowski will assume the role until a full-time successor is appointed. Ruch are eleventh in the division with ten points from nine games.
