Strong competition
The 27-year-old former CD Santiago Wanderers and Unión Santa Cruz player has joined the Metallurg club ahead of the new Premier-Liga season which starts in March. "As far as I know there is a strong championship in Russia with a lot of competition for the top places," Muñoz said.
Higher level
"I want to test myself at a higher level than the Chilean league and it will be interesting to live in a country I have heard so much about," he added. Muñoz, who also played for Spanish side CD Numancia, has 30 international caps.
