In the last European domestic game of 2015/16, Rudar Pljevlja won their fourth Montenegrin Cup by beating Budućnost Podgorica 4-3 on penalties  after a goalless 120 minutes. Rudar's hero was goalkeeper Miloš Radanović, who saved Miloš Raičković's and Milan Vušurović's shots and then stepped up to convert. "It is a nice feeling to decide a final, but this is the teams's success," Radanović said. "Now we could say that we had a successful season."

Sheriff win Moldovan title play-off
Goran Galešić's goal gave Sheriff a 1-0 win against Dacia Chisinau and the Moldovan title, the race decided on a play-off game after the teams finished the regular season level on points. The Bosnian midfielder's shot from distance two minutes from time took the crown back to Tiraspol. "I'm totally exhausted now," said coach Zoran Vulić. "I know how awful it would have been to have lost. I don't know how to celebrate, but I do want to thank everyone who supported us."

Zürich claim cup consolation
Four days after being relegated to the second tier in Switzerland, Zürich bounced back by claiming their ninth Swiss Cup title on Sunday. Sangoné Sarr struck the only goal for Uli Forte's men in a 1-0 victory against Lugano, finding the net shortly before half-time after Lugano's Mattia Bottani had missed a penalty. "When you're down, you need to get back up again," said midfielder Burim Kukeli. "The title helps ease our sorrows, but we know we've made a mess of the season otherwise."
