The 31-year-old, who has penned a one-year contract, previously played for Udinese between 1989 and 1997. He left the Friuli stadium for SSC Napoli where he stayed for two seasons prior his move to Florence.
'It's like a dream'
A non-playing member of the Italian squad at EURO 96™, Rossitto said of his return to Udine: "I'm really excited because I previously spent so many years here - it's like a dream. I'm happy that former team-mates and friends such as [Nestor] Sensini and [Valerio] Bertotto are here. I'm in good physical condition and fully motivated."
