Contracts terminated
Juan José Camacho, Francisco Cabrera 'Quino', Cherif Touré-Maman, Tommy English, Guy Ipoua and Paul McLaughlin were told that their contracts were being terminated during a meeting at Almondvale Stadium
Pay cuts
Six other unnamed players have been asked in the first instance to consider pay cuts as the club try to work their way out of a financial crisis. The players have until Friday to make a decision. Last week chairman Dominic Keane resigned once the club's bankers decided measures had to be taken to address a debt of around €14.7m.
Cup final
The six sacked players are free now to sign for any club as it was Livingston who broke the terms of their contract. Livingston, despite facing an uncertain future, have reached next month's final of the Scottish League Cup.
