Kosovo visit to UEFA focuses on infrastructure

A delegation from the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) and Kosovar government has visited UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon.

UEFA President Aleksandar Čeferin held talks with a party led by FFK President Agim Ademi and sports minister Hajrulla Çeku which concentrated on the development of football infrastructures in Kosovo.

Mr Çeku presented the ministry’s five-year plan centring on the construction of new stadiums and renovation of existing venues throughout Kosovo. The visiting delegation thanked UEFA for its committed support to the FFK and Kosovo authorities through UEFA’s HatTrick development programme and other initiatives.

The FFK was the 55th and latest member association to be admitted to UEFA at the European body’s Congress in Budapest in May 2016.
