UEFA has made key matchday information available for fans attending this year's Champions League final in Istanbul

This year’s UEFA Champions League final will see Manchester City FC play FC Internazionale Milano at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Türkiye on 10 June 2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CEST / 22:00 local time). UEFA is looking forward to welcoming football fans from around the globe, for an exciting and memorable matchday experience.

Two dedicated Fan Zones in close proximity to the stadium will host Manchester City and Inter supporters from 14:00 on the day of the match. It will be the perfect gathering spot for fans to start the pre-match celebrations, with stage entertainment, food & drinks and more. The Fan Zones are accessible to match ticket holders only and supporters are encouraged to arrive early.

To facilitate matchday travel, a free transport programme will be in place. The programme includes dedicated shuttle buses as well as all metro and tram services in Istanbul. Ticket holders can take advantage of the free travel offering by presenting their UCL Fan Pass on the UEFA Champions League app when boarding the shuttle buses or upon request by public transport staff.

The dedicated shuttle bus service will be running on matchday between the airports, the city centre and the Fan Zones at the stadium. A warning has been issued about the expected heavy traffic in Istanbul. Travel across the city may take significantly longer than expected, so ticket holders should leave enough time in their planning and avoid taxi travel. The official shuttles and public transport are the best way to get around.

Before travelling to Istanbul, ticket holders should pay close attention to the stadium information provided by UEFA, as rules for Atatürk Olympic Stadium may differ from what supporters are used to at home. Local regulations do not permit coins of any currency to be brought inside the stadium. Any coins removed prior to entry to the final will be donated to the Earthquake Fund in support of those affected by the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria.

For the first time at the UEFA Champions League final, all match tickets will be mobile tickets delivered on the UEFA Mobile Tickets App. Fans are strongly encouraged to transfer tickets to their guest before travelling to Istanbul and make sure their phones are fully charged on matchday. Power banks will be allowed inside the stadium, as long as they do not exceed the size of the mobile phone.

Travel to the stadium without a match ticket is strongly discouraged. Non-ticket holders will not be able to access the area or any of the facilities surrounding the stadium and there will be nowhere to watch the match.

The UEFA Champions Festival in Yenikapı, Etkinlik Alanı will offer residents and fans without match tickets an abundance of entertainment activities over the course of four days. On matchday, a public viewing will be organised for all festival visitors. The event is free-to-enter. Dedicated screening areas will be available for Manchester City and Inter supporters, who are in Istanbul but have missed out on match tickets.

Match attendees and festival visitors are strongly encouraged to download the official UEFA Champions League App prior to heading to Istanbul. The official Event Companion on the app will provide users with live travel alerts, matchday updates, an interactive map as well as the UCL Fan Pass which supports free matchday travel for all ticket holders. UEFA is also working closely with the finalist clubs, supporter groups and local authorities to ensure the wide circulation of all event communications.

More information and details are available in the official UEFA Champions League App as well as the Event Guide on UEFA.com.
