Spanish strugglers CD Tenerife have been boosted by the signing of defender Javier Muñoz Mustafa.

Spanish first division strugglers CD Tenerife have been boosted by the loan signing of Argentine defender Javier Muñoz Mustafa from CA Rosario Central.

Timely boost
The 21-year-old central defender will spend the rest of the season at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium, and is likely to replace long-term injury victim Pablo Paz.

Crushing defeat
The deal includes a buy-out option for the Canary Island club, who went bottom of the Primera División after a 6-0 home defeat by FC Barcelona on Saturday.
