Portugal round-up: Vital points for Belenenses

CF Os Belenenses earned three valuable points with a convincing 3-0 away win against SC Beira Mar on Monday evening.

Filgueira on target
After a goalless first half in the Mario Duarte Aveiro stadium, Brazilian defender Luís Filgueira eventually put the visitors ahead on the hour mark. Beira Mar pushed hard for an equaliser but left gaps at the back that Belenenses exploited to the full in the dying moments.

Late goals
Ricardo Sousa doubled his side's advantage with four minutes remaining, before midfield player César Peixoto made sure of the points in the final minute. The win was Belenenses' first over Beira Mar in four attempts, having lost two and drawn one of their previous three meetings.
