MŠK Zilina have made their second coaching change of the season by sacking Frantisek Komnacký.

Slovakia's defending champions MŠK Zilina have made their second coaching change of the season by sacking Frantisek Komnacký.

Three months only
The 51-year-old Komnacký was appointed six matches into the season after the dismissal of his fellow Czech Leos Kalvoda but has lasted just three months in the job.

Rybár takes over
His assistant Jaroslav Rybár has taken charge of the team, who sit third in the table, nine points behind leaders ŠK Slovan Bratislava. Rybár has signed a contract until June 2004.

'Unsatisfactory results'
"The unsatisfactory results were the only reason," Komnacký said of his dismissal. "Zilina have top ambitions and I admit that we did not cope in several games despite playing well."
