Vitória Guimarães and SL Benfica will play their next home Super Liga matches at neutral venues.

Hospital treatment
The Disciplinary Commission of the Portuguese League met today to discuss the weekend's events at Guimarães' temporary home in Felgueiras, the Dr Machado de Matos stadium. In the 50th minute of the 1-1 draw, a Benfica supporter threw a firework on to the pitch which injured Guimarães substitute Marcinho and the club's fitness trainer Jorge Ramiro, whose burns warranted hospital treatment.

Policeman injured
Guimarães were not without blame either. As the game drew to a close, home fans threw seats on to the pitch and into seating occupied by journalists, injuring a policeman in the process. The Disciplinary Commission has ordered Guimarães's next home fixture against UD Leiria on Friday to be played at the Dos Arcos stadium in Vila do Conde, home to Rio Ave FC.

Torres Novas for Benfica
The club's chairman, António Pimenta Machado, and Guimarães coach Augusto Inácio also learned today that their actions on Saturday are to be investigated by the commission. Meanwhile, Benfica will play their match against SC Beira-Mar on 26 January at the Torres Novas Municipal stadium in Torres Novas rather than their own Da Luz.
