The 27-year-old Brazilian moves to the Netherlands in a €400,000 transfer, after agreeing an initial three-year deal with the UEFA Cup qualifiers. The former Tombense CF custodian made 180 appearances for Germinal Beerschot during seven seasons in Belgium's top flight, and lifted the Belgian Cup in 2005. He will vie for the Groningen No1 slot with Brian van Loo.
