Gheorghe Hagi has been appointed as new Romanian national coach. The 36-year old, who recently ended a glorious career which saw him play him for FC Steaua Bucharesti, Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona and Galatasaray SK, will replace Ladislau Bölöni, who resigned last week to sign a three-year contract with Portuguese side Sporting Clube de Portugal.
