Chief tormentors
Zé Roberto and Miran Silva were the chief tormentors as they each grabbed a brace, Barata and António Tito being the other goalscorers.
Vieira dismissed
Five of the goals came in the second half. Zé Roberto, who opened the scoring after 23 minutes, made it two four minutes after the restart. Miran Silva hit the third with 20 minutes remaining and Barata added a fourth on 77 minutes, two minutes after Vitor Vieira saw red for the visitors.
Rout completed
Tito got in on the act in the 81st minute before Miran Silva completed the rout with three minutes to play. Braga have seven points from six games, two places and a point behind Santa Clara.
