Jean-Marc Guillou has taken over as head coach of KSK Beveren but failed to inspire the Belgian side to a win in his first game in charge.

Still bottom
Beveren lost 2-0 at home to KFC Lommelse SK to stay rooted to the bottom of the Eerste Klasse, after goals from Richard Culek and Ibrahim Tankary.

Frenchman Guillou, who replaced Emilio Ferrera, originally joined Beveren as sports director at the start of the season, investing €310,000 in the club. He is involved in a youth academy in the Ivory Coast.

Disappointing start
Ferrera, formerly on the staff at FC Barcelona in Spain, left Beveren last Thursday. Under his charge, Beveren had taken just one point from the first five league games of the season. He had been with the club for one and a half years, saving the club from relegation two seasons running.
