A Dagui Bakari goal four minutes into injury time handed Lille OSC a last-gasp 1-0 victory over FC Nantes Atlantique on Saturday that put them back on top of France’s Le Championnat.
Win for Lens
Bakari nodded in Bruno Cheyrou's cross to sink the fallen champions, who are bottom of the standings with only three points and no wins from their first ten matches of the season. LOSC head the table on 22 points, one more than neighbours RC Lens, who won 3-2 at FC Lorient thanks to a hat-trick by playmaker Daniel Moreira.
Reduced deficit
Moreira scored three times in the first half after Lorient went ahead through Pascal Feindouno in the 12th minute. Jean-Claude Darcheville reduced the deficit for Lorient 15 minutes from the end.
Auxerre lose first match
AJ Auxerre lost their Burgundy derby at home against Espérance Sportive Troyes AC 3-1. Nicolas Goussé, Rafik Saïfi and Olivier Thomas scored the goals that handed Auxerre their first defeat of the season.
Double sending off
Struggling Olympique de Marseille recovered some of their old flair to beat FC Metz 2-0, their first away win in the league for 13 months. Pascal Nouma and Brazil's Fernandäo, both new recruits, scored Marseille's goals. French international defender Frank Leboeuf and Mario Espartero of Metz were both sent off.
Leading scorers
AS Monaco FC's Cyril Rool and CS Sedan-Ardenne's David Di Tommaso were also sent off. Monaco went on to win the game 2-0. Promoted FC Sochaux-Montbéliard defeated SC Bastia 4-1 thanks to two goals from Pierre-Alain Frau, who joined Auxerre's Djibril Cissé as the league’s leading scorer with seven goals.
