AGF Århus pulled off one of the biggest shocks of the Danish Superleague season so far when they won 4-1 at Aalborg BK.

Hopes crushed
AGF, who had won just one league game before Monday, were next to bottom going into the match. But Aalborg's hopes of moving to within one point of leaders Brøndby IF were crushed by their visitors.

Hosts stunned
AGF stunned their hosts with two goals in the first 12 minutes, with Ken Martin opening the scoring with a sixth-minute volley. Tomasz Mazurkiewicz then beat keeper Jimmy Nielsen with a wonderful shot from 35 yards.

Substitute scores
Aalborg halved the deficit four minutes into the second half as Indrek Zelinski headed his ninth goal of the season from Henrik Rasmussen's corner. But Mickey Doyle hit back for AGF in the 55th minute, and shortly afterwards Zelinski was sent off. Three minutes from time, sub Nocko Jokovic headed a fourth after getting on the end of a Mazurkiewicz pass.
