Herzog unhappy at Bremen

Austrian international Andreas Herzog has said he wants to leave 1. Bundesliga club SV Werder Bremen.

Second spell
The 31-year-old midfielder, scorer of the 92nd-minute equaliser against Israel on Saturday that sent Austria through to a 2002 FIFA World Cup play-off against Turkey, said: "The situation in Bremen is not satisfying for me. Of course I am not happy sitting on the bench and now I have had enough." Herzog is in his second spell at the club after signing from FC Bayern München in 1996.

Return to Rapid
The Austrian national team captain added that he was keen to return to SK Rapid Wien, where he played for four seasons before joining Bremen in 1992. "It would be a dream to help Rapid on their way to more trophies," said Herzog.
