Walkover win
Their opponents - city rivals FC Ararat Yerevan - failed to turn up for the match and as a consequence Pyunik were awarded a 3-0 walkover by the Armenian Football Federation. Ararat have yet to give a reason for their absence. The league leaders now have an unassailable lead at the top of the league with three games left to play.
Bus problems
The visitors also failed to show for FC Shirak’s home game with FC Lernagorts who cited problems with the team bus. The Federation have yet to make a decision as to the outcome of this game.
Banants triumph
In the day's other match, FC Banants won 2-0 at home to Dinamo-2000 Yerevan with Gagik Simonian and Artur Minasian scoring in the 19th and 29th minutes respectively.
