Former F.Y.R. Macedonia coach Dragan Kanatlarovski will take charge of FK Belasica GC from the beginning of December.
Temporary adviser
Kanatlarovski is currently acting as a temporary adviser to caretaker coach Risto Ancev but according to club president Vanco Takovski will take full charge at the Mladost stadium next month.
‘Professional attitude’
“It will be real pleasure to work here,” said Kanatlarovski. “I'll try to achieve the main aim of the club which is to qualify for one of the European competitions. The decisive reason for coming here was their professional attitude and their obvious ambition.''
The team to beat
Belasica currently lie third in the Prva Fudbalska Liga, a point behind FK Sloga Jugomagnat, but Kanatlarovski believes that they have everything to play for in the remainder of the season, saying: “I think that the team will be the one to beat for the rest of this year's Macedonian championship.”
New stadium plans
Meanwhile, the president has announced plans for a new, multi-purpose stadium for the club capable of holding 5,500 spectators. BelasIca are hoping to develop a state-of-the-art youth training academy and plan to launch a ladies football team.
