Moldova: Zimbru go second

FC Zimbru Chisinau knocked FC Nistru Otaci off second spot in the Divizia Nationala in Moldova after beating them 2-0 on Thursday in a game postponed from round three.

First-half lead
Lado Akhalaia set the visitors on their way with a first-minute goal, and Iurie Osipenco doubled the lead three minutes before the break to secure maximum points going into the winter break.

Runaway leaders
Zimbru are now nine points behind runaway Moldovan first division leaders FC Sheriff Tiraspol, with Nistru a further two points behind after slipping to third.
