Ten for Barburos
Ruslan Barburos set them on their way after 23 minutes, scoring his tenth of the season, and early in the second half Victor Comlionoc doubled the score. Serghei Dadu put the game beyond doubt with a minute remaining, before Ovic Galstean scored an injury-time consolation penalty for Agro.
Own goal
Second-placed FC Nistru Otaci, who have a game in hand on Sheriff, did their best to stay in touch with the leaders as they overcame FC Hincesti 2-0. Valeriu Ceres put the ball through his own net for the opener after nine minutes, while Alexandru Blajco scored the second in the 31st minute.
Dramatic draw
FC Zimbru Chisinau stay third after beating FC Constructorul-93 Chisinau 2-0 with Victor Berco and Lado Akhalaia netting inside the last 20 minutes of the game. FC Happy End Camenca moved a point above Agro at the foot of the table after playing out a dramatic 2-2 draw with FC Tiligul Tiraspol.
Frenetic finish
Zinoviy Vasileev had given Happy End the lead in the sixth minute, but it was the final eight minutes of the game that provided most of the action. The home side's Serghei Poghreban and Serghei Covalciuc scored goals in the 82nd and 85th minutes to wrest the advantage back in their favour as the game drew to a close. But Andrei Burcovschii rescued a point for Happy End with two minutes remaining.
