AFC Ajax's reserve side reached the quarter-finals of the Dutch Cup when they beat struggling Eredivisie outfit FC Twente 2-1 with a "golden goal" on Wednesday.

Double dismissal
Twente took the lead in the 27th minute through Simon Cziommer but the first half was overshadowed by the 44th-minute dismissal of Ajax striker Brutil Hosé and Twente defender Dennis Hulshoff for fighting.

Late leveller
The Enschede side looked to holding out for a place in the last eight when Jason Culina restored parity in the final minute with an excellent long-range effort. Brazilian defender Walker hit home the winning penalty seven minutes into extra time after Twente's Jeroen Heubach slipped in the penalty area and fallen with his hand on the ball.

Wamberto winner
Ajax's first team came back from 3-1 down and also needed a "golden goal" to beat second division RBC Roosendaal 4-3 -Wamberto scoring the winning goal in the 106th minute.

Feyenoord stroll
League leaders Feyenoord had little problem with FC Den Bosch and won 2-0 through goals by Ebi Smolarek and Shinji Ono. FC Groningen also made it into the last eight with an easy 3-0 victory over second division FC Zwolle.
