Two-year deal
Hiukka agreed a two-year deal with Tampere who lifted the Veikkausliiga title for the first time in their history last season. The former RoPS Rovaniemi player was the Veikkausliiga's top scorer in 1998 after netting eleven times.
Two caps
Hiukka, who has two Finnish international caps to his name, has scored 36 times in 151 league matches and also had a spell with FC Jokerit.
