FC Aris Thessaloniki president Kyriakos Maravelias has resigned for health reasons, the Hellenic National League club announced on Thursday.

Majority stake
Maravelias was appointed early in the season after Yiannis Zahoudanis, a Greek-American, bought a majority stake in the Thessaloniki club from insurance tycoon Dimitris Kontominas.
