The heavy home defeat saw the visitors 3-0 up at half-time after an own goal from Kenan Arayici and strikes from Tümer Metin and Ronaldo Guairo. After the break, Metin hit his second before two goals from Ahmet Dursun after 64 and 89 minutes wrapped up a fine day for the Istanbul outfit.

Hat-trick for Ahinful
MKE Ankaragücü also enjoyed a big away win, 4-3 at Denizilispor. The star of the show was Augustine Ahinful. The Nigerian scored a first-half hat-trick with goals in the 20th, 26th and 41st minute.

Tekke double
Antalyaspor and Samsunspor shared a 1-1 draw, with Mehmet Oncan's strike after half-an-hour cancelling out Etrugul Saglam's opener after 19 minutes. Gaziantepspor were 3-2 winners over Yozgatspor. Fatih Tekke opened the scoring for the hosts after 13 minutes and scored again a minute after the interval. In between Mustafa Sahintürk had already added a second for Gaziantepspor.
