Benayon on target
Yossi Benayon opened the scoring with his first of the season after 11 minutes before Moti Ohayon headed the equaliser for the home side. Haifa were ahead again though after Yaacubo Ayegbini but Jerusalem levelled again through David Amsalem. A free-kick by Aduram Keisi from the edge of the area three minutes into injury-time stole the points for the visitors.
Nilash strike
Third-placed Hapoel Tel-Aviv extended their lead over fourth-placed Hapoel Petach-Tikva with a 3-1 win over FC Ashdod. The hosts opened the scoring in the 20th minute through Alek Nilash and further goals from Asi Domb and Ben Luz sealed the win.
Hapoel lose Petach-Tikva derby
Hapoel Petach-Tikva lost 1-0 at home to city rivals Maccabi Petach-Tikva, while Hapoel Beer-Sheva slipped to their eighth defeat in 14 matches after Hapoel Ironi Rishon took all three points in a 1-0 win.
