Article body
Swedish international striker Henrik Larsson scored a 90th-minute winner for ten-man Celtic FC as the reigning champions edged out Livingston FC 3-2 in the Scottish Premier League on Wednesday.
Moravcik free-kick
Celtic's Lubomír Moravcik curled in a free-kick over the Livingston wall after 12 minutes, but Oscar Rubio headed an equaliser from another free-kick before the break. Larsson restored Celtic's lead with a low shot in the 50th minute after Paul Lambert burst through the Livingston defence but it was soon cancelled out by Francisco Quino. Celtic were reduced to ten men when Belgian international Joos Valgaeren was sent off in the 78th minute only for Larsson to snatch the points with his second of the day.
Rangers win on McLeish return
Celtic's Glasgow rivals Rangers FC ran out 3-0 winners as their new manager Alex McLeish took his new side to former club Hibernian FC. Craig Moore headed the visitors into the lead but it took late strikes from Tore André Flo on 85 minutes and a Shota Arveladze penalty three minutes later to secure the win. Hibernian had Ulrik Laursen sent off for the deliberate handball that led to the penalty and Thomas McManus red carded for his protests.
