NK Maribor have decided to release four players going into the winter break in Slovenia.

Third in table
The club have let midfield players Dalibor Silic and Bosnian Faruk Ihtijarevic leave the Ljudski vrt stadium along with forward Vanja Starcevic. All three have found it hard to secure a regular first-team place. Maribor are third in the Slovenian first division but lost their last game before the break and are five points off the top.

Seslar also going
Maribor will also let midfield player Simon Seslar leave the club. Seslar, who has been linked with a move to Belgian club K. Lierse SK, has played 16 of the club’s 20 games this season scoring three goals. The 27-year-old has made one appearance for Slovenia.
