BV Borussia Dortmund have imposed heavy sanctions on Brazilian striker Marcio Amoroso and Bosnia-Herzegovnian defender Sead Kapetanovic for failing to show up at the club's training camp in Spain following the Christmas break.
No sign of Kapetanovic
Both players were supposed to be in Montecastillo on Friday but Amoroso did not appear until Wednesday and Kapetanonic is yet to arrive. Amoroso has been fined €20,000 while Kapetanovic will be sacked as a Dortmund player.
Zorc comments
Kapetanovic's contract was due to expire in the summer, but the Dortmund management have decided to terminate his employment with immediate effect. "You can’t run around with us like that and in the case of Kapetonovic we will go as far as the law permits us," said Michael Zorc, the club's sport director.
