The 22-year-old midfield player, who has signed a contract until June 2005, said: "I have maximum motivation because I am going to fulfil one of my dreams by playing in the Spanish Primera División," said Torrado. "More than that, I am joining one of the biggest sides in Spain."

Torrado is a player hopeful of making his country's squad for the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Sevilla had expressed an interest in 1860 Munich midfielder Erik Mykland, but the Norwegian international signed this week for FC København instead.
