Article body
Danish club Vejle BK have signed Rangers FC goalkeeper Jesper Christiansen on loan for the rest of the season.
Second choice
Christiansen has opted to return to Denmark due to a lack of first-team opportunities at Ibrox, where he has been second choice to Stefan Klos.
Chance to shine
"When I heard Vejle were interested I thought it would be a good idea to go for a loan spell," said the 23-year-old, Thomas Sørensen's deputy in the Danish national team. "I haven't played for a long time and I'm happy to get going at Vejle where I can show our new manager in Glasgow [Alex McLeish] what I can do."
Habekost quits
Vejle, the Superligaen's bottom side, needed a goalkeeper following the retirement last week of former No1 Boye Habekost.
