Tel-Aviv were put on the way to their sixth successive home victory when captain Shimon Gershon scored a 14th-minute penalty following a foul by Tomer Eliyaho on Sergey Klachenco. Klachenco doubled the hosts' lead shortly before half-time, firing home after good work from Yossi Abuksis.
Balili on target
The visitors pulled back a goal when Siad Halilovic's free-kick was headed into the net by Konstantin Vizonik for his third in as many games. But Tel-Aviv hit back immediately, Igal Antebi's pass enabling Pini Balili to head home.
