Glen Crowe was the hero again for Bohemian FC as he scored twice in the 3-0 victory over Cork City FC in the National League.

Hunt makes sure
Crowe, a target for several English clubs, again pressed his claim for a call-up to the national team by scoring the opener in the 33rd minute and another just before full time. Captain Kevin Hunt had made sure of the points with Bohemians' second goal in the 80th minute, firing past Cork goalkeeper Mick Devine for his first goal of the season. Crowe has now scored 14 league goals this season, while it is now three league wins in four games under boss Stephen Kenny.

Longford steal it
Sunday's other action saw Longford Town FC record their first league win under new boss Martin Lawlor as they won 2-1 away at University College Dublin FC. Substitute Stuart Holt put Longford ahead from the penalty spot on 59 minutes after Clive Delaney fouled Town striker Fergal Coleman in the box, though UCD were level within a minute as Mick O'Donnell finished off a move started by Ireland U-21 international Robbie Martin. But an Alan Kirby volley on 68 minutes was enough to get the points for Longford.
