Rangers win 3-0
Flo opener
Norway striker Tore André Flo put Rangers ahead after 30 minutes and Claudio Caniggia followed up five minutes later with a low shot that went in off the far post after being put through by Dutchman Ronald de Boer. The veteran Argentinian striker, who was 35 on Wednesday, was on target again with his seventh league goal of the season three minutes from time.
Mixed afternoon
Roberto Bisconti had a mixed afternoon in Aberdeen FC's 3-1 defeat at Heart of Midlothian FC. Bisconti hammered home Aberdeen's equaliser on the stroke of half-time after Tommi Gronlund had put Hearts ahead in the 38th minute. But the Belgian was sent off in the 64th minute for two yellow card offences in quick succession, the second for dissent, and Hearts scored further goals through Steve Fulton and Gary Wales to leap over Aberdeen into fourth place.
Chinese defender on target
China defender Fan Zhiyi scored the only goal in the 66th minute as Dundee FC beat Hibernian FC 1-0 to record only their second victory in ten matches. Dundee played the rest of the match against ten men as Hibernian's French forward Frédéric Arpinon was sent off in the 67th minute.
