The 26-year-old midfield player, who has been with the club since 1995, damaged a ligament in his right ankle in a friendly match and could be missing for two months, according to coach Søren Kusk.

Disappointing start
Viborg, who are are eighth in the table, face Aalborg BK on 3 March in their first match after the winter break. The club had a disappointing start to the season, winning only two of their first 12 matches, although their form did improve subsequently.
