Two-year deal
The 22-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Dutch club despite never playing a first-team game at Brugge after progressing through the youth ranks. He is a versatile performer and can play at full-back or as a central defender.
Schenkel signed
De Fauw is the second new signing made by Sparta. The club have also signed Danny Schenkel from second division side Stormvogels/Telstar, although the 23-year-old central defender will finish the season before moving to Rotterdam.
