Ukrainian Premier League side FC Metalurh Donetsk have completed the signing of FC Arsenal Kyiv midfield player Serhiy Zakarlyuka.
Keeping the dream alive
"I hope that playing for Metalurh will help me secure a place in the national team - my dream is to help Ukraine to the EURO 2004™ finals," said the 25-year-old, who has been included in coach Leonid Buryak's latest national squad.
Training camp
Zakarlyuka is expected to join Donetsk at their pre-season training camp in Holland this weekend. Formerly with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, he has two international caps. Donetsk lie fourth in the Ukrainian Premier League, which restarts in March after the winter break.
