Article body
FC Zakarpattya Uzhgorod have completed a deal which will see four FC Dynamo Kyiv players joining the Ukrainian Premier League’s basement club at their winter-break camp in Cyprus.
Six months
The quartet will spend six months on loan in Uzhgorod, as Zakarpattya continue their attempts to avoid relegation from the top flight. Maryan Maruschak, Igor Skoba, Evheny Lozinsky and Serhiy Motuz have all played for Ukraine's national youth teams. Maruschak has been capped by his country at Under-21 level and signed for Dynamo after they beat off competition for him from AFC Ajax.
Four become five?
Defender Lozinsky, midfield player Skoba and striker Motuz, all aged 19, played for Ukraine's under-18 side at the UEFA European championships in 2001. Former Zakarpattya captain Serhiy Bogatyriov, who signed a five-year deal with Dynamo in January but is currently considering a loan move, may yet join the quartet.
