The prolific attacker, who topped the scoring charts of the Tippeligaen last season with 17 goals, will now miss the start of the Norwegian season after sustaining the injury in a tackle with defender Torgeir Bjarmann during the 1-0 defeat against Lilleström SK in the semi-final of the La Manga pre-season tournament in Spain.
Small disaster
"This is a minor disaster for us," said sports director Rune Brateseth. Both SV Werder Bremen striker Marco Bode and FK Austria Wien's Sigurd Rushfeldt have been mentioned as possible replacements for Johnsen, but acccording to Bratseth neither of them would be available for the start of the season this month.
